Teaching Skiers with a Visual Impairment (PM)

1PM-4PM: If you are new to working with the athlete who is visually impaired, this clinic is for you.This session will introduce the basics of skiing with athletes with visual impairments. Learn about vision diagnoses, safety concerns, and teaching strategies to help the skier find success. Various guiding techniques will be also demonstrated and practiced. Discover how to develop an awareness to the skier’s needs which will build trust with your athlete.
