Visually Impaired Guiding Clinic PM

If you are new to working with the athlete who is visually impaired, this clinic is for you.This session will introduce the basics of skiing with athletes with visual impairments. Learn about vision diagnoses, safety concerns, and teaching strategies to help the skier find success. Various guiding techniques will be also demonstrated and practiced.

This clinic will be held outdoors, on snow. Please be sure to dress accordingly.

*We will be hosting a special VI group from Spaulding Rehab Hospital on January 24th, and we are looking for volunteers that can help guide these athletes!
