Be an Adaptive Sports Volunteer

NEHSA is an organization whose sole mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports and recreation.

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

– Winston Churchill

Why Volunteer?

Each lesson brings joy and independence to individuals with disabilities through adaptive skiing, adaptive hiking, or adaptive kayaking. As a volunteer for adaptive sports, you can witness the transformative power of the great outdoors.

Better Together.

NEHSA would not exist without the hundreds of hours generously donated by our adaptive instructors. Our volunteers provided over 7500 hours of adaptive lessons every year.

You can be the change.

“Witness the triumph of the human spirit” is as much about our athletes as it is about our volunteers. We invite you to join us, to share in our enthusiasm for the adventure and freedom that adaptive skiing, adaptive hiking, and adaptive kayaking provide individuals with disabilities.
