“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill NEHSA is an organization whose sole goal is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities through adaptive sport instruction. NEHSA could not exist without the generous donation of many hundreds of thousands of hours by their volunteer pool. The volunteer staff is truly the foundation on which NEHSA rests. NEHSA is a leader in New England in adaptive sports providing over 7500 hours of lessons during the 2011-2012 ski season. NEHSA has recently begun to aggressively design year round recreational opportunities, as well. We are confident that your experience with NEHSA will be rewarding. We look forward to sharing our enthusiasm for adventure and the sense of freedom that skiing and outdoor activities provides. Most importantly, we hope to share our deep respect for the determination of our students’ achievements celebrating our mantra: “Witness the triumph of the human spirit.” For more information about the rewards and benefits of volunteering, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 603-763-9158.
